Whilst in Wallsend visiting Headhunters Barbers there are penty of other things to see and do from the obligatory pub crawl, theres not as many as in the shipyard days but you'll still be canny tipsy if you have a pint in them all! Segedunum the roman fort which protected the eastern end of Hadrians Wall ...thats where the name came from, is open to the public and has some fantastic activity days for the kids, think roman soldiers. Wallsend Park is also worth a visit on a sunny day, exercise machines, skate park to name but a few of its attractions. there is also a fantastic golf course in Wallsend..The Centurion park golf club is an 18 hole course and driving range
